Krista Chapman (Née Kapitan), MEDI

Krista is dedicated to addressing social, economic, and environmental sustainability issues and opportunities in the agri-food sector and rural communities. Krista uses her expertise to assist clients in supporting the viability and sustainability of Canada’s rural and agricultural communities. She is also passionate about rural and agri-food sector economic development. She has led the development of several regional agriculture and agri-food strategies, organizational strategic plans, and research projects. She works with clients ranging from local municipalities to provincial and national governments and commodity groups.

Krista holds a master’s degree in Economic Development and Innovation from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a major in economics and policy from the University of Guelph. In addition to her role at Wilton Consulting Group, Krista is a Director of the Ontario Farmland Trust, and serves as the Vice-Chair for the Policy and Education Committee.
